पौण्ड्रकोऽपि तदुद्योगमुपलभ्य महारथः । अक्षौहिणीभ्यां संयुक्तो निश्चक्राम पुराद्द्रुतम् ॥ १०-६६-११ ॥
Upon observing Lord Kṛṣṇa’s preparations for battle, the mighty warrior Pauṇḍraka quickly went out of the city with two full military divisions. ॥ 10-66-11 ॥

भगवान कृष्ण की युद्ध के लिए तैयारियों को देखकर शक्तिशाली योद्धा पौण्ड्रक तत्काल अपने दो सम्पूर्ण सैन्य विभागों के साथ नगर से बाहर निकला। ॥ १०-६६-११ ॥

Pauṇḍraka’s friend, the King of Kāśī, followed behind, O King, leading the rear guard with three akṣauhiṇī divisions. Lord Kṛṣṇa saw that Pauṇḍraka was carrying the Lord’s own insignia, ॥ 10-66-12 ॥

पौण्ड्रक का मित्र, काशी के राजा, राजा के पीछे चला गया, हे राजन्, तीन अक्षौहिणी विभागों के साथ पिछड़े का संगणक लेकर। भगवान कृष्ण ने देखा कि पौंड्रक भगवान का अपना प्रतीक चिन्ह ॥ १०-६६-१२ ॥

शङ्खार्यसिगदाशार्ङ्गश्रीवत्साद्युपलक्षितम् । बिभ्राणं कौस्तुभमणिं वनमालाविभूषितम् ॥ १०-६६-१३ ॥
such as the conchshell, disc, sword and club, and also an imitation Śārṅga bow and Śrīvatsa mark. He wore a mock Kaustubha gem, was decorated with a garland of forest flowers ॥ 10-66-13 ॥

जैसे शंख, चक्र, तलवार और गदा, और एक नकली शारंग धनुष और श्रीवत्स चिह्न भी ले जा रहा था। उन्होंने एक नकली कौस्तुभ मणि पहनी थी, जंगल के फूलों की माला से सजाया गया था ॥ १०-६६-१३ ॥

कौशेयवाससी पीते वसानं गरुडध्वजम् । अमूल्यमौल्याभरणं स्फुरन्मकरकुण्डलम् ॥ १०-६६-१४ ॥
and was dressed in upper and lower garments of fine yellow silk. His banner bore the image of Garuḍa, and he wore a valuable crown and gleaming, shark-shaped earrings. ॥ 10-66-14 ॥

और बढ़िया पीले रेशम के ऊपरी और निचले वस्त्र पहने हुए थे। उसके ध्वज पर गरुड़ की छवि थी,, और उन्होंने एक मूल्यवान मुकुट और चमकदार, शार्क के आकार की बालियां पहनी थीं। ॥ १०-६६-१४ ॥

दृष्ट्वा तमात्मनस्तुल्यवेषं कृत्रिममास्थितम् । यथा नटं रङ्गगतं विजहास भृशं हरिः ॥ १०-६६-१५ ॥
Lord Hari laughed heartily when He saw how the King had dressed up in exact imitation of His own appearance, just like an actor onstage. ॥ 10-66-15 ॥

जब भगवान हरि ने देखा कि कैसे राजा ने मंच पर एक अभिनेता की तरह अपने ही रूप की नकल करते हुए कपड़े पहने थे, तो वे खूब हंसे। ॥ १०-६६-१५ ॥
