कलेवरं परशुभिश्छित्त्वा तत्ते व्रजौकसः । दूरे क्षिप्त्वावयवशो न्यदहन् काष्ठधिष्टितम् ॥ १०-६-३३ ॥

The inhabitants of Vraja cut the gigantic body of Pūtanā into pieces with the help of axes. Then they threw the pieces far away, covered them with wood and burned them to ashes. ॥ 10-6-33 ॥

english translation

व्रजवासियों ने पूतना के शरीर को फरसों से खण्ड खण्ड कर डाला। फिर उन खण्डों को दूर फेंक दिया और उन्हें लकड़ी से ढक कर भस्मीभूत कर डाला। ॥ १०-६-३३ ॥
