ताः प्राहिणोद्द्वारवतीं सुमृष्टविरजोऽम्बराः । नरयानैर्महाकोशान् रथाश्वान् द्रविणं महत् ।। १०-५९-३६ ।।

sanskrit

The Lord had the princesses arrayed in clean, spotless garments and then sent them in palanquins to Dvārakā, together with great treasures of chariots, horses and other valuables. ।। 10-59-36 ।।

english translation

भगवान ने राजकुमारियों को स्वच्छ, बेदाग वस्त्र पहनाए और फिर उन्हें रथों, घोड़ों और अन्य मूल्यवान वस्तुओं के विशाल खजाने के साथ पालकियों में द्वारका भेज दिया। ।। १०-५९-३६ ।।

ऐरावतकुलेभांश्च चतुर्दन्तांस्तरस्विनः । पाण्डुरांश्च चतुःषष्टिं प्रेषयामास केशवः ।। १०-५९-३७ ।।

sanskrit

Lord Kṛṣṇa also dispatched sixty-four swift white elephants, descendants of Airāvata, who each sported four tusks. ।। 10-59-37 ।।

english translation

भगवान कृष्ण ने ऐरावत के वंशज, चौंसठ तीव्र गति वाले सफेद हाथी भी भेजे, जिनमें से प्रत्येक के चार-चार दाँत थे। ।। १०-५९-३७ ।।

गत्वा सुरेन्द्रभवनं दत्त्वादित्यै च कुण्डले । पूजितस्त्रिदशेन्द्रेण सहेन्द्राण्या च सप्रियः ।। १०-५९-३८ ।।

sanskrit

The Lord then went to the abode of Indra, the demigods’ king, and gave mother Aditi her earrings; there Indra and his wife worshiped Kṛṣṇa and His beloved consort Satyabhāmā. ।। 10-59-38 ।।

english translation

तब भगवान देवताओं के राजा इंद्र के निवास पर गए, और माता अदिति को उनकी बालियां दीं; वहां इंद्र और उनकी पत्नी ने कृष्ण और उनकी प्रिय पत्नी सत्यभामा की पूजा की। ।। १०-५९-३८ ।।

चोदितो भार्ययोत्पाट्य पारीजातं गरुत्मति । आरोप्य सेन्द्रान् विबुधान् निर्जित्योपानयत्पुरम् ।। १०-५९-३९ ।।

sanskrit

Then, at Satyabhāmā’s behest the Lord uprooted the heavenly pārijāta tree and put it on the back of Garuḍa. After defeating Indra and all the other demigods, Kṛṣṇa brought the pārijāta to His capital. ।। 10-59-39 ।।

english translation

तब, सत्यभामा के आदेश पर भगवान ने स्वर्गीय पारिजात वृक्ष को उखाड़ लिया और गरुड़ की पीठ पर रख दिया। इंद्र और सभी अन्य देवताओं को पराजित करने के बाद, कृष्ण ने पारिजात को अपनी राजधानी में ले आया। ।। १०-५९-३९ ।।

स्थापितः सत्यभामाया गृहोद्यानोपशोभनः । अन्वगुर्भ्रमराः स्वर्गात्तद्गन्धासवलम्पटाः ।। १०-५९-४० ।।

sanskrit

Once planted, the pārijāta tree beautified the garden of Queen Satyabhāmā’s palace. Bees followed the tree all the way from heaven, greedy for its fragrance and sweet sap. ।। 10-59-40 ।।

english translation

एक बार लगाए जाने के बाद, पारिजात वृक्ष ने रानी सत्यभामा के महल के बगीचे को सुशोभित किया। मधुमक्खियाँ उसकी सुगंध और मीठे रस के लालच में स्वर्ग से पूरे रास्ते पेड़ का पीछा करती रहीं। ।। १०-५९-४० ।।
