इत्यङ्गोपदिशन्त्येके विस्मृत्य प्रागुदाहृतम् । मुनिवासनिवासे किं घटेतारिष्टदर्शनम् ।। १०-५७-३१ ।।

Some men proposed [that the troubles were due to Akrūra’s absence], but they had forgotten the glories of the Supreme Lord, which they themselves had so often described. Indeed, how can calamities occur in a place where the Personality of Godhead, the residence of all the sages, resides? ।। 10-57-31 ।।

english translation

कुछ लोगों ने प्रस्ताव रखा (कि परेशानियां अक्रूर की अनुपस्थिति के कारण थीं), लेकिन वे भगवान की महिमा को भूल गए थे, जिसका उन्होंने स्वयं अक्सर वर्णन किया था। वास्तव में, उस स्थान पर आपदाएँ कैसे आ सकती हैं जहाँ भगवान, सभी ऋषियों का निवास स्थान है? ।। १०-५७-३१ ।।
