मणिहेतोरिह प्राप्ता वयमृक्षपते बिलम् । मिथ्याभिशापं प्रमृजन्नात्मनो मणिनामुना ॥ १०-५६-३१ ॥
[Lord Kṛṣṇa said:] It is for this jewel, O lord of the bears, that we have come to your cave. I intend to use the jewel to disprove the false accusations against Me. ॥ 10-56-31 ॥
english translation
[भगवान कृष्ण ने कहा:] हे रीछों के स्वामी, इसी रत्न के लिए हम आपकी गुफा में आए हैं। मैं अपने ऊपर लगे झूठे आरोपों को गलत साबित करने के लिए इस आभूषण का उपयोग करना चाहता हूं। ॥ १०-५६-३१ ॥

इत्युक्तः स्वां दुहितरं कन्यां जाम्बवतीं मुदा । अर्हणार्थं स मणिना कृष्णायोपजहार ह ॥ १०-५६-३२ ॥
Thus addressed, Jāmbavān happily honored Lord Kṛṣṇa by offering Him his maiden daughter, Jāmbavatī, together with the jewel. ॥ 10-56-32 ॥

इस प्रकार संबोधित करते हुए, जाम्बवान ने खुशी-खुशी भगवान कृष्ण को अपनी कुंवारी बेटी, जाम्बवती, मणि सहित भेंट करके उनका सम्मान किया। ॥ १०-५६-३२ ॥

अदृष्ट्वा निर्गमं शौरेः प्रविष्टस्य बिलं जनाः । प्रतीक्ष्य द्वादशाहानि दुःखिताः स्वपुरं ययुः ॥ १०-५६-३३ ॥
After Lord Śauri had entered the cave, the people of Dvārakā who had accompanied Him had waited twelve days without seeing Him come out again. Finally they had given up and returned to their city in great sorrow. ॥ 10-56-33 ॥

भगवान शौरी के गुफा में प्रवेश करने के बाद, उनके साथ आए द्वारका के लोगों ने बारह दिनों तक प्रतीक्षा की और उन्हें दोबारा बाहर आते नहीं देखा। आख़िरकार उन्होंने हार मान ली और बड़े दुःख के साथ अपने शहर लौट आये। ॥ १०-५६-३३ ॥

निशम्य देवकी देवी रुक्मिण्यानकदुन्दुभिः । सुहृदो ज्ञातयोऽशोचन् बिलात्कृष्णमनिर्गतम् ॥ १०-५६-३४ ॥
When Devakī, Rukmiṇī-devī, Vasudeva and the Lord’s other relatives and friends heard that He had not come out of the cave, they all lamented. ॥ 10-56-34 ॥

जब देवकी, रुक्मिणी-देवी, वासुदेव और भगवान के अन्य रिश्तेदारों और दोस्तों ने सुना कि वह गुफा से बाहर नहीं आए हैं, तो वे सभी विलाप करने लगे। ॥ १०-५६-३४ ॥

सत्राजितं शपन्तस्ते दुःखिता द्वारकौकसः । उपतस्थुर्महामायां दुर्गां कृष्णोपलब्धये ॥ १०-५६-३५ ॥
Cursing Satrājit, the sorrowful residents of Dvārakā approached the Durgā deity named Candrabhāgā and prayed to her for Kṛṣṇa’s return. ॥ 10-56-35 ॥

सत्रजित को श्राप देते हुए, द्वारका के दुखी निवासी चंद्रभागा नामक दुर्गा देवता के पास गए और उनसे कृष्ण की वापसी के लिए प्रार्थना की। ॥ १०-५६-३५ ॥
