एतदन्तः समाम्नायो योगः साङ्ख्यं मनीषिणाम् । त्यागस्तपो दमः सत्यं समुद्रान्ता इवापगाः ॥ १०-४७-३३ ॥
According to intelligent authorities, this is the ultimate conclusion of all the Vedas, as well as all practice of yoga, Sāṅkhya, renunciation, austerity, sense control and truthfulness, just as the sea is the ultimate destination of all rivers. ॥ 10-47-33 ॥

बुद्धिमान अधिकारी जनों के अनुसार यही सारे वेदों तथा योगाभ्यास, सांख्य, त्याग, तपस्या, इन्द्रिय संयम तथा सचाई का चरम निष्कर्ष है, जिस तरह कि सारी नदियों का चरम गन्तव्य समुद्र है। ॥ १०-४७-३३ ॥
