अथ तान् दुरभिप्रायान् विलोक्य बलकेशवौ । क्रुद्धौ धन्वन आदाय शकले तांश्च जघ्नतुः ॥ १०-४२-२० ॥
Seeing the guards coming upon Them with evil intent, Balarāma and Keśava took up the two halves of the bow and began striking them down. ॥ 10-42-20 ॥

दुर्भावना से रक्षकों को अपनी ओर आते देखकर बलराम तथा कृष्ण ने धनुष के दोनों खण्डों को अपने हाथों में ले लिया और वे उन सबों को इन्हीं से मारने लगे। ॥ १०-४२-२० ॥
