धनुषो भज्यमानस्य शब्दः खं रोदसी दिशः । पूरयामास यं श्रुत्वा कंसस्त्रासमुपागमत् ॥ १०-४२-१८ ॥

sanskrit

The sound of the bow’s breaking filled the earth and sky in all directions. Upon hearing it, Kaṁsa was struck with terror. ॥ 10-42-18 ॥

english translation

धनुष के टूटने की ध्वनि पृथ्वी तथा आकाश की सारी दिशाओं में भर गई। इसे सुनकर कंस भयभीत हो उठा। ॥ १०-४२-१८ ॥

dhanuSo bhajyamAnasya zabdaH khaM rodasI dizaH । pUrayAmAsa yaM zrutvA kaMsastrAsamupAgamat ॥ 10-42-18 ॥
