इत्युक्त्वा चोदयामास स्यन्दनं गान्दिनीसुतः । मथुरामनयद्रामं कृष्णं चैव दिनात्यये ॥ १०-४१-६ ॥
With these words, Akrūra, the son of Gāndinī, began driving the chariot onward. At the end of the day he arrived in Mathurā with Lord Balarāma and Lord Kṛṣṇa. ॥ 10-41-6 ॥

इन शब्दों के साथ गान्दिनीपुत्र अक्रूर ने रथ आगे हाँकना शुरू कर दिया। दिन ढलते ढलते वे भगवान् बलराम तथा भगवान् कृष्ण को लेकर मथुरा जा पहुँचे। ॥ १०-४१-६ ॥

मार्गे ग्रामजना राजंस्तत्र तत्रोपसङ्गताः । वसुदेवसुतौ वीक्ष्य प्रीता दृष्टिं न चाददुः ॥ १०-४१-७ ॥
Wherever they passed along the road, O King, the village people came forward and looked upon the two sons of Vasudeva with great pleasure. In fact, the villagers could not withdraw their eyes from Them. ॥ 10-41-7 ॥

हे राजन्, वे मार्ग में जहाँ जहाँ से गुजरते, गाँव के लोग पास आकर वसुदेव के इन दोनों पुत्रों को बड़े ही हर्ष से निहारते। वस्तुत: ग्रामीणजन उनसे अपनी दृष्टि हटा नहीं पाते थे। ॥ १०-४१-७ ॥

तावद्व्रजौकसस्तत्र नन्दगोपादयोऽग्रतः । पुरोपवनमासाद्य प्रतीक्षन्तोऽवतस्थिरे ॥ १०-४१-८ ॥
Nanda Mahārāja and the other residents of Vṛndāvana, having reached Mathurā ahead of the chariot, had stopped at a garden on the outskirts of the city to wait for Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma. ॥ 10-41-8 ॥

नन्द महाराज तथा वृन्दावन के अन्य वासी रथ से पहले ही मथुरा पहुँच गये थे और कृष्ण तथा बलराम की प्रतीक्षा करने के लिए नगर के बाहरी उद्यान में रुके हुए थे। ॥ १०-४१-८ ॥

तान् समेत्याह भगवानक्रूरं जगदीश्वरः । गृहीत्वा पाणिना पाणिं प्रश्रितं प्रहसन्निव ॥ १०-४१-९ ॥
After joining Nanda and the others, the Supreme Lord Kṛṣṇa, the controller of the universe, took humble Akrūra’s hand in His own and, smiling, spoke as follows. ॥ 10-41-9 ॥

नन्द तथा अन्य लोगों से मिलने के बाद ब्रह्माण्ड के नियन्ता भगवान् कृष्ण ने विनीत अक्रूर के हाथ को अपने हाथ में लेकर हँसते हुए इस प्रकार कहा। ॥ १०-४१-९ ॥

भवान् प्रविशतामग्रे सह यानः पुरीं गृहम् । वयं त्विहावमुच्याथ ततो द्रक्ष्यामहे पुरीम् ॥ १०-४१-१० ॥
[Lord Kṛṣṇa said:] Take the chariot and enter the city ahead of us. Then go home. After resting here a while, we will go to see the city. ॥ 10-41-10 ॥

[भगवान् कृष्ण ने कहा] आप रथ लेकर हमसे पहले नगरी में प्रवेश करें। तत्पश्चात् आप अपने घर जाँय। हम यहाँ पर कुछ समय तक ठहर कर बाद में नगरी देखने जायेंगे। ॥ १०-४१-१० ॥
