शम्बरो नरको बाणो मय्येव कृतसौहृदाः । तैरहं सुरपक्षीयान् हत्वा भोक्ष्ये महीं नृपान् ॥ १०-३६-३६ ॥
As are Śambara, Naraka and Bāṇa. I will use them all to kill off those kings who are allied with the demigods, and then I will rule the earth. ॥ 10-36-36 ॥

और वैसे ही शम्बर, नरक तथा बाण हैं। मैं इन सबों का उपयोग उन राजाओं का वध करने के लिए करूँगा जो देवताओं के पक्षधर हैं और तब मैं सारी पृथ्वी पर राज करूँगा। ॥ १०-३६-३६ ॥

एतज्ज्ञात्वाऽऽनय क्षिप्रं रामकृष्णाविहार्भकौ । धनुर्मखनिरीक्षार्थं द्रष्टुं यदुपुरश्रियम् ॥ १०-३६-३७ ॥
Now that you understand my intentions, please go at once and bring Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma to watch the bow sacrifice and see the opulence of the Yadus’ capital. ॥ 10-36-37 ॥

चूँकि अब आप मेरे मनोभावों को जान चुके हैं अत: तुरन्त जाइये और कृष्ण तथा बलराम को धनुष यज्ञ निहारने तथा यदुओं की राजधानी का ऐश्वर्य देखने के लिए ले आइये। ॥ १०-३६-३७ ॥

अक्रूर उवाच राजन् मनीषितं सध्र्यक् तव स्वावद्यमार्जनम् । सिद्ध्यसिद्ध्योः समं कुर्याद्दैवं हि फलसाधनम् ॥ १०-३६-३८ ॥
Śrī Akrūra said: O King, you have expertly devised a process to free yourself of misfortune. Still, one should be equal in success and failure, since it is certainly destiny that produces the results of one’s work. ॥ 10-36-38 ॥

श्री अक्रूर ने कहा : हे राजन्, आपने अपने को दुर्भाग्य से मुक्त करने के लिए अच्छा उपाय ढूँढ निकाला है। फिर भी मनुष्य को सफलता तथा विफलता में समभाव रहना चाहिए क्योंकि निश्चित रूप से यह भाग्य ही है, जो किसी के कर्म के फलों को उत्पन्न करता है। ॥ १०-३६-३८ ॥

मनोरथान् करोत्युच्चैर्जनो दैवहतानपि । युज्यते हर्षशोकाभ्यां तथाप्याज्ञां करोमि ते ॥ १०-३६-३९ ॥
An ordinary person is determined to act on his desires even when fate prevents their fulfillment. Therefore he encounters both happiness and distress. Yet even though such is the case, I will execute your order. ॥ 10-36-39 ॥

सामान्य व्यक्ति अपनी इच्छाओं के अनुसार कर्म करने के लिए कृतसंकल्प रहता है भले ही उसका भाग्य उन्हें पूरा न होने दे। अत: वह सुख तथा दुख दोनों का सामना करता है। इतने पर भी मैं आपके आदेश को पूरा करूँगा। ॥ १०-३६-३९ ॥

Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: Having thus instructed Akrūra, King Kaṁsa dismissed his ministers and retired to his quarters, and Akrūra returned home. ॥ 10-36-40 ॥

शुकदेव गोस्वामी ने कहा : अक्रूर को इस तरह आदेश देकर कंस ने अपने मंत्रियों को विदा कर दिया और स्वयं अपने घर में चला गया तथा अक्रूर अपने घर लौट आया। ॥ १०-३६-४० ॥
