निजपदाब्जदलैर्ध्वजवज्रनीरजाङ्कुशविचित्रललामैः । व्रजभुवः शमयन् खुरतोदं वर्ष्मधुर्यगतिरीडितवेणुः ।। १०-३५-१६ ।।

sanskrit

As Kṛṣṇa strolls through Vraja with His lotus-petal-like feet, marking the ground with the distinctive emblems of flag, thunderbolt, lotus and elephant goad, He relieves the distress the ground feels from the cows’ hooves. As He plays His renowned flute, ।। 10-35-16 ।।

english translation

जब कृष्ण अपने कमल-दल जैसे पाँवों से व्रज में घूमते हैं, तो भूमि पर पताका, वज्र, कमल तथा अंकुश जैसे प्रतीकों के स्पष्ट चिन्ह बनते जाते हैं और वे पृथ्वी को गौवों के खुरों से अनुभव होने वाली पीड़ा से प्रशमित करते हैं। जब वे अपनी विख्यात बाँसुरी बजाते हैं, ।। १०-३५-१६ ।।
