वलयानां नूपुराणां किङ्किणीनां च योषिताम् । सप्रियाणामभूच्छब्दस्तुमुलो रासमण्डले ॥ १०-३३-६ ॥
A tumultuous sound arose from the armlets, ankle bells and waist bells of the gopīs as they sported with their beloved Kṛṣṇa in the circle of the rāsa dance. ॥ 10-33-6 ॥

जब गोपियाँ रासनृत्य के मण्डल में अपने प्रियतम कृष्ण के साथ नृत्य करने लगीं तो उनके कंगनों, पायलों तथा करधनी के घुंघरुओं से तुमुल ध्वनि उठती थी। ॥ १०-३३-६ ॥

तत्रातिशुशुभे ताभिर्भगवान् देवकीसुतः । मध्ये मणीनां हैमानां महामरकतो यथा ॥ १०-३३-७ ॥
In the midst of the dancing gopīs, Lord Kṛṣṇa appeared most brilliant, like an exquisite sapphire in the midst of golden ornaments. ॥ 10-33-7 ॥

नृत्य करती गोपियों के बीच भगवान् कृष्ण अत्यन्त शोभायमान प्रतीत हो रहे थे जिस तरह सोने के आभूषणों के बीच मरकत मणि शोभा पाता है। ॥ १०-३३-७ ॥

पादन्यासैर्भुजविधुतिभिः सस्मितैर्भ्रूविलासैः भज्यन् मध्यैश्चलकुचपटैः कुण्डलैर्गण्डलोलैः । स्विद्यन् मुख्यः कबररशनाग्रन्थयः कृष्णवध्वो गायन्त्यस्तं तडित इव ता मेघचक्रे विरेजुः ॥ १०-३३-८ ॥
As the gopīs sang in praise of Kṛṣṇa, their feet danced, their hands gestured, and their eyebrows moved with playful smiles. With their braids and belts tied tight, their waists bending, their faces perspiring, the garments on their breasts moving this way and that, and their earrings swinging on their cheeks, Lord Kṛṣṇa’s young consorts shone like streaks of lightning in a mass of clouds. ॥ 10-33-8 ॥

जब गोपियों ने कृष्ण की प्रशंसा में गीत गाया, तो उनके पाँवों ने नृत्य किया, उनके हाथों ने इशारे किये और उनकी भौंहें हँसी से युक्त होकर मटकने लगीं। जिनकी वेणियाँ तथा कमर की पेटियाँ मजबूत बँधी हुई थीं, जिनकी कमरें लचकती हुई थी, जिनके मुखों पर पसीने की बूँदे झलकती थीं, जिनके स्तनों को ढके हुए वस्त्र इधर उधर हिलते थे तथा जिनके कानों की बालियाँ गालों पर हिल-डुल रही थीं, कृष्ण की ऐसी तरुणी प्रियाएँ बादल के समूह में बिजली की कौंध की तरह चमक रही थीं। ॥ १०-३३-८ ॥

उच्चैर्जगुर्नृत्यमाना रक्तकण्ठ्यो रतिप्रियाः । कृष्णाभिमर्शमुदिता यद्गीतेनेदमावृतम् ॥ १०-३३-९ ॥
Eager to enjoy conjugal love, their throats colored with various pigments, the gopīs sang loudly and danced. They were overjoyed by Kṛṣṇa’s touch, and they sang songs that filled the entire universe. ॥ 10-33-9 ॥

विविध रंगों से रँगे कंठों वाली, माधुर्यप्रेम का आनन्द लूटने की इच्छुक गोपियों ने जोर जोर से गाना गाया और नृत्य किया। वे कृष्ण का स्पर्श पाकर अति-आनन्दित थीं और उन्होंने जो गीत गाये उनसे सारा ब्रह्माण्ड भर गया। ॥ १०-३३-९ ॥

काचित्समं मुकुन्देन स्वरजातीरमिश्रिताः । उन्निन्ये पूजिता तेन प्रीयता साधु साध्विति । तदेव ध्रुवमुन्निन्ये तस्यै मानं च बह्वदात् ॥ १०-३३-१० ॥
One gopī, joining Lord Mukunda in His singing, sang pure melodious tones that rose harmoniously above His. Kṛṣṇa was pleased and showed great appreciation for her performance, saying “Excellent! Excellent!” Then another gopī repeated the same melody, but in a special metrical pattern, and Kṛṣṇa praised her also. ॥ 10-33-10 ॥

एक गोपी ने भगवान् मुकुन्द के गाने के साथ साथ शुद्ध मधुर राग गाया जो कृष्ण के स्वर से भी उच्च सुर ऊँचे स्वर में था। इससे कृष्ण प्रसन्न हुए और “बहुत अच्छा, बहुत अच्छा” कहकर उसकी प्रशंसा की। तत्पश्चात् एक दूसरी गोपी ने वही राग अलापा किन्तु वह ध्रुपद के विशेष छंद में था। कृष्ण ने उसकी भी प्रशंसा की। ॥ १०-३३-१० ॥
