श्रीशुक उवाच इत्थं भगवतो गोप्यः श्रुत्वा वाचः सुपेशलाः । जहुर्विरहजं तापं तदङ्गोपचिताशिषः ॥ १०-३३-१ ॥
Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: When the cowherd girls heard the Supreme Personality of Godhead speak these most charming words, they forgot their distress caused by separation from Him. Touching His transcendental limbs, they felt all their desires fulfilled. ॥ 10-33-1 ॥
english translation
शुकदेव गोस्वामी ने कहा : जब गोपियों ने भगवान् को अत्यन्त मनोहारी इन शब्दों में कहते सुना तो वे उनके विछोह से उत्पन्न अपना दुख भूल गईं। उनके दिव्य अंगों का स्पर्श पाकर उन्हें लगा कि उनकी सारी इच्छाएँ पूर्ण हो गईं। ॥ १०-३३-१ ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptतत्रारभत गोविन्दो रासक्रीडामनुव्रतैः । स्त्रीरत्नैरन्वितः प्रीतैरन्योन्याबद्धबाहुभिः ॥ १०-३३-२ ॥
There on the Yamunā’s banks Lord Govinda then began the pastime of the rāsa dance in the company of those jewels among women, the faithful gopīs, who joyfully linked their arms together. ॥ 10-33-2 ॥

तत्पश्चात् भगवान् गोविन्द ने वहीं यमुना के तट पर उन स्त्री-रत्न श्रद्धालु गोपियों के संग में रासनृत्य लीला प्रारंभ की जिन्होंने प्रसन्नता के मारे अपनी बाँहों को एक दूसरे के साथ श्रृंखलाबद्ध कर दिया। ॥ १०-३३-२ ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptरासोत्सवः सम्प्रवृत्तो गोपीमण्डलमण्डितः । योगेश्वरेण कृष्णेन तासां मध्ये द्वयोर्द्वयोः । प्रविष्टेन गृहीतानां कण्ठे स्वनिकटं स्त्रियः ॥ १०-३३-३ ॥
The festive rāsa dance commenced, with the gopīs arrayed in a circle. Lord Kṛṣṇa expanded Himself and entered between each pair of gopīs, and as that master of mystic power placed His arms around their necks, each girl thought He was standing next to her alone. ॥ 10-33-3 ॥

तब उल्लासपूर्ण रासनृत्य प्रारम्भ हुआ जिसमें गोपियाँ एक गोलाकार घेरे में सध गईं। भगवान् कृष्ण ने अपना विस्तार किया और गोपियों के प्रत्येक जोड़े के बीच-बीच प्रविष्ट हो गये। ज्योंही योगेश्वर ने अपनी भुजाओं को उनके गलों के चारों ओर रखा तो प्रत्येक युवती ने सोचा कि वे केवल उसके ही पास खड़े हैं। ॥ १०-३३-३ ॥

rAsotsavaH sampravRtto gopImaNDalamaNDitaH । yogezvareNa kRSNena tAsAM madhye dvayordvayoH । praviSTena gRhItAnAM kaNThe svanikaTaM striyaH ॥ 10-33-3 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयं मन्येरन् नभस्तावद्विमानशतसङ्कुलम् । दिवौकसां सदाराणामौत्सुक्यापहृतात्मनाम् ॥ १०-३३-४ ॥
The demigods and their wives were overwhelmed with eagerness to witness the rāsa dance, and they soon crowded the sky with their hundreds of celestial airplanes. ॥ 10-33-4 ॥
english translation
इस रासनृत्य को देखने के लिए देवता तथा उनकी पत्नियाँ उत्सुकता से गद्गद हुये जा रहे थे। शीघ्र ही आकाश में उनके सैकड़ों विमानों की भीड़ लग गई। ॥ १०-३३-४ ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptततो दुन्दुभयो नेदुर्निपेतुः पुष्पवृष्टयः । जगुर्गन्धर्वपतयः सस्त्रीकास्तद्यशोऽमलम् ॥ १०-३३-५ ॥
Kettledrums then resounded in the sky while flowers rained down and the chief Gandharvas and their wives sang Lord Kṛṣṇa’s spotless glories. ॥ 10-33-5 ॥

तब आकाश में दुन्दुभियाँ बज उठीं और फूलों की वर्षा होने लगी। मुख्य गन्धर्वों ने अपनी पत्नियों के साथ भगवान् कृष्ण के निर्मल यश का गायन किया। ॥ १०-३३-५ ॥
