कस्याः पदानि चैतानि याताया नन्दसूनुना । अंसन्यस्तप्रकोष्ठायाः करेणोः करिणा यथा ।। १०-३०-२७ ।।

sanskrit

[The gopīs said:] Here we see the footprints of some gopī who must have been walking along with the son of Nanda Mahārāja. He must have put His arm on Her shoulder, just as an elephant rests His trunk on the shoulder of an accompanying she-elephant. ।। 10-30-26 ।।

english translation

[गोपियों ने कहा]: यहाँ पर हमें किसी गोपी के चरणचिन्ह दिख रहे हैं, जो अवश्य ही नन्द महाराज के पुत्र के साथ साथ चल रही होगी। उन्होंने उसके कंधे पर अपना हाथ उसी तरह रखा होगा जिस तरह एक हाथी अपनी सूँड़ अपनी सहगामिनी हथिनी के कंधे पर रख देता है। ।। १०-३०-२७ ।।
