ता वार्यमाणाः पतिभिः पितृभिर्भ्रातृबन्धुभिः । गोविन्दापहृतात्मानो न न्यवर्तन्त मोहिताः ।। १०-२९-८ ।।

sanskrit

Their husbands, fathers, brothers and other relatives tried to stop them, but Kṛṣṇa had already stolen their hearts. Enchanted by the sound of His flute, they refused to turn back. ।। 10-29-8 ।।

english translation

उनके पतियों, पिताओं, भाइयों तथा अन्य सम्बन्धियों ने उन्हें रोकने का प्रयत्न किया किन्तु कृष्ण उनके हृदयों को पहले ही चुरा चुके थे। उनकी बाँसुरी की ध्वनि से मोहित होकर उन्होंने लौटने से इनकार कर दिया। ।। १०-२९-८ ।।
