इत्यच्युतेनाभिहिता व्रजाबला मत्वा विवस्त्राप्लवनं व्रतच्युतिम् । तत्पूर्तिकामास्तदशेषकर्मणां साक्षात्कृतं नेमुरवद्यमृग्यतः ।। १०-२२-२० ।।

Thus the young girls of Vṛndāvana, considering what Lord Acyuta had told them, accepted that they had suffered a falldown from their vow by bathing naked in the river. But they still desired to successfully complete their vow, and since Lord Kṛṣṇa is Himself the ultimate result of all pious activities, they offered their obeisances to Him to cleanse away all their sins. ।। 10-22-20 ।।

english translation

इस तरह वृन्दावन की उन युवतियों ने कृष्ण द्वारा कहे गये वचनों पर विचार करके यह मान लिया कि नदी में नग्न स्नान करने से वे अपने व्रत से पतित हुई हैं। किन्तु तो भी वे अपना व्रत पूरा करना चाहती थीं और चूँकि भगवान् कृष्ण समस्त पुण्य कर्मों के प्रत्यक्ष चरमफल हैं अत: अपने पापों को धो डालने के उद्देश्य से उन्होंने कृष्ण को नमस्कार किया। ।। १०-२२-२० ।।
