तास्तं सुविग्नमनसोऽथ पुरस्कृतार्भाः कायं निधाय भुवि भूतपतिं प्रणेमुः । साध्व्यः कृताञ्जलिपुटाः शमलस्य भर्तुर्मोक्षेप्सवः शरणदं शरणं प्रपन्नाः ।। १०-१६-३२ ।।

sanskrit

Their minds very much disturbed, those saintly ladies placed their children before them and then bowed down to the Lord of all creatures, laying their bodies flat upon the ground. They desired the liberation of their sinful husband and the shelter of the Supreme Lord, the giver of ultimate shelter, and thus they folded their hands in supplication and approached Him. ।। 10-16-32 ।।

english translation

अत्यन्त उद्विग्नमना उन साध्वी स्त्रियों ने अपने बच्चों को अपने आगे कर लिया और तब समस्त प्राणियों के स्वामी के समक्ष भूमि पर गिरकर साष्टांग प्रणाम किया। वे अपने पापी पति का मोक्ष एवं परम शरणदाता भगवान् की शरण चाहती थीं अत: नम्रता से हाथ जोड़े हुए वे उनके निकट आईं। ।। १०-१६-३२ ।।

tAstaM suvignamanaso'tha puraskRtArbhAH kAyaM nidhAya bhuvi bhUtapatiM praNemuH | sAdhvyaH kRtAJjalipuTAH zamalasya bharturmokSepsavaH zaraNadaM zaraNaM prapannAH || 10-16-32 ||
