अथ व्रजे महोत्पातास्त्रिविधा ह्यतिदारुणाः । उत्पेतुर्भुवि दिव्यात्मन्यासन्नभयशंसिनः ॥ १०-१६-१२ ॥

In the Vṛndāvana area there then arose all three types of fearful omens — those on the earth, those in the sky and those in the bodies of living creatures — which announced imminent danger. ॥ 10-16-12 ॥

english translation

तब वृन्दावन क्षेत्र में सभी तीन प्रकार के—पृथ्वी पर होनेवाले, आकाश में होनेवाले तथा जीवों के शरीर में होनेवाले—भयावने अपशकुन प्रकट होने लगे जो तुरन्त आने वाले खतरे की चेतावनी कर रहे थे। ॥ १०-१६-१२ ॥
