ततोऽतिकायस्य निरुद्धमार्गिणो ह्युद्गीर्णदृष्टेर्भ्रमतस्त्वितस्ततः । पूर्णोऽन्तरङ्गे पवनो निरुद्धो मूर्धन् विनिष्पाट्य विनिर्गतो बहिः ।। १०-१२-३१ ।।

Then, because Kṛṣṇa had increased the size of His body, the demon extended his own body to a very large size. Nonetheless, his breathing stopped, he suffocated, and his eyes rolled here and there and popped out. The demon’s life air, however, could not pass through any outlet, and therefore it finally burst out through a hole in the top of the demon’s head. ।। 10-12-31 ।।

english translation

चूँकि कृष्ण ने अपने शरीर का आकार बढ़ा दिया था इसलिए असुर ने अपने शरीर को काफी बड़ा कर लिया। फिर भी उसकी श्वास रुक गई उसका दम घुट गया और उसकी आँखें इधर-उधर भटकने लगीं तथा बाहर निकल आईं। किन्तु असुर के प्राण किसी भी छेद से निकल नहीं पा रहे थे अत: अन्त में उसके सिर के ऊपरी छेद से बाहर फूट पड़े। ।। १०-१२-३१ ।।
