उलूखलं विकर्षन्तं दाम्ना बद्धं च बालकम् । कस्येदं कुत आश्चर्यमुत्पात इति कातराः ।। १०-११-३ ।।

sanskrit

Kṛṣṇa was bound by the rope to the ulūkhala, the mortar, which He was dragging. But how could He have pulled down the trees? Who had actually done it? Where was the source for this incident? Considering all these astounding things, the cowherd men were doubtful and bewildered. ।। 10-11-3 ।।

english translation

कृष्ण रस्सी द्वारा ओखली से बँधे थे जिसे वे खींच रहे थे। किन्तु उन्होंने वृक्षों को किस तरह गिरा लिया? वास्तव में किसने यह किया? इस घटना का स्रोत कहाँ है? इन आश्चर्यजनक बातों को सोच सोच कर सारे ग्वाले सशंकित तथा मोहग्रस्त थे। ।। १०-११-३ ।।
