किं दुःसहं नु साधूनां विदुषां किमपेक्षितम् । किमकार्यं कदर्याणां दुस्त्यजं किं धृतात्मनाम् ।। १०-१-५८ ।।

sanskrit

What is painful for saintly persons who strictly adhere to the truth? How could there not be independence for pure devotees who know the Supreme Lord as the substance? What deeds are forbidden for persons of the lowest character? And what cannot be given up for the sake of Lord Kṛṣṇa by those who have fully surrendered at His lotus feet? ।। 10-1-58 ।।

english translation

वे साधु पुरुष जो सत्य पर अटल रहते हैं, उनके लिए क्या पीड़ादायक है? उन शुद्ध भक्तों के लिए जो भगवान् को तत्त्व के रूप में जानते हैं, भला स्वतंत्रता क्यों नहीं होती? निम्नचरित्र वाले पुरुषों के लिए कौन से कार्य वर्जित हैं? जिन्होंने भगवान् कृष्ण के चरणकमलों पर अपने को पूरी तरह समर्पित कर दिया है वे कृष्ण के लिए भला कौन सी वस्तु नहीं त्याग सकते? ।। १०-१-५८ ।।
