शूरसेनो यदुपतिर्मथुरामावसन् पुरीम् । माथुराञ्छूरसेनांश्च विषयान् बुभुजे पुरा ॥ १०-१-२७ ॥

Formerly, Śūrasena, the chief of the Yadu dynasty, had gone to live in the city of Mathurā. There he enjoyed the places known as Māthura and Śūrasena. ॥ 10-1-27 ॥

english translation

प्राचीन काल में यदुवंश का मुखिया शूरसेन मथुरा नामक नगरी में रहने के लिए गया। वहाँ उसने माथुर तथा शूरसेन नामक स्थानों का भोग किया। ॥ १०-१-२७ ॥
