वि ये द॒धुः श॒रदं॒ मास॒मादह॑र्य॒ज्ञम॒क्तुं चादृच॑म् । अ॒ना॒प्यं वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॑र्य॒मा क्ष॒त्रं राजा॑न आशत ॥ वि ये दधुः शरदं मासमादहर्यज्ञमक्तुं चादृचम् । अनाप्यं वरुणो मित्रो अर्यमा क्षत्रं राजान आशत ॥
Who have established the year, and then the month and the day, the sacrifice, the night, and the holytext, they, the royal deities, Varuṇa, Mitra, Aryaman, enjoy unrivalled might.
english translation
vi ye da॒dhuH za॒radaM॒ mAsa॒mAdaha॑rya॒jJama॒ktuM cAdRca॑m । a॒nA॒pyaM varu॑No mi॒tro a॑rya॒mA kSa॒traM rAjA॑na Azata ॥ vi ye dadhuH zaradaM mAsamAdaharyajJamaktuM cAdRcam । anApyaM varuNo mitro aryamA kSatraM rAjAna Azata ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतद्वो॑ अ॒द्य म॑नामहे सू॒क्तैः सूर॒ उदि॑ते । यदोह॑ते॒ वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॑र्य॒मा यू॒यमृ॒तस्य॑ रथ्यः ॥ तद्वो अद्य मनामहे सूक्तैः सूर उदिते । यदोहते वरुणो मित्रो अर्यमा यूयमृतस्य रथ्यः ॥
Therefore today at sunrise we solicit you with hymns for (wealth), which Varuṇa, Mitra, Aryaman,bearers of water, you convey.

tadvo॑ a॒dya ma॑nAmahe sU॒ktaiH sUra॒ udi॑te । yadoha॑te॒ varu॑No mi॒tro a॑rya॒mA yU॒yamR॒tasya॑ rathyaH ॥ tadvo adya manAmahe sUktaiH sUra udite । yadohate varuNo mitro aryamA yUyamRtasya rathyaH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptऋ॒तावा॑न ऋ॒तजा॑ता ऋता॒वृधो॑ घो॒रासो॑ अनृत॒द्विष॑: । तेषां॑ वः सु॒म्ने सु॑च्छ॒र्दिष्ट॑मे नर॒: स्याम॒ ये च॑ सू॒रय॑: ॥ ऋतावान ऋतजाता ऋतावृधो घोरासो अनृतद्विषः । तेषां वः सुम्ने सुच्छर्दिष्टमे नरः स्याम ये च सूरयः ॥
Accepters of rites, genitive rated for rites, augmenters of rites, fierce enemies of the neglecter of rites, maywe, as well as those men who are your adorers, be in (the enjoyment of) the highest felicity, all confirmed by you.

R॒tAvA॑na R॒tajA॑tA RtA॒vRdho॑ gho॒rAso॑ anRta॒dviSa॑: । teSAM॑ vaH su॒mne su॑ccha॒rdiSTa॑me nara॒: syAma॒ ye ca॑ sU॒raya॑: ॥ RtAvAna RtajAtA RtAvRdho ghorAso anRtadviSaH । teSAM vaH sumne succhardiSTame naraH syAma ye ca sUrayaH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउदु॒ त्यद्द॑र्श॒तं वपु॑र्दि॒व ए॑ति प्रतिह्व॒रे । यदी॑मा॒शुर्वह॑ति दे॒व एत॑शो॒ विश्व॑स्मै॒ चक्ष॑से॒ अर॑म् ॥ उदु त्यद्दर्शतं वपुर्दिव एति प्रतिह्वरे । यदीमाशुर्वहति देव एतशो विश्वस्मै चक्षसे अरम् ॥
That beautiful orb (of the sun) rises on the near margin of the sky as the swift, divine, white-coloured(steed) bears it along for the beholding of all men.

udu॒ tyadda॑rza॒taM vapu॑rdi॒va e॑ti pratihva॒re । yadI॑mA॒zurvaha॑ti de॒va eta॑zo॒ vizva॑smai॒ cakSa॑se॒ ara॑m ॥ udu tyaddarzataM vapurdiva eti pratihvare । yadImAzurvahati deva etazo vizvasmai cakSase aram ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशी॒र्ष्णःशी॑र्ष्णो॒ जग॑तस्त॒स्थुष॒स्पतिं॑ स॒मया॒ विश्व॒मा रज॑: । स॒प्त स्वसा॑रः सुवि॒ताय॒ सूर्यं॒ वह॑न्ति ह॒रितो॒ रथे॑ ॥ शीर्ष्णःशीर्ष्णो जगतस्तस्थुषस्पतिं समया विश्वमा रजः । सप्त स्वसारः सुविताय सूर्यं वहन्ति हरितो रथे ॥
The seven gliding steeds convey the sun, the lord of every individual moving or stationary thing,traversing the whole world in his chariot for the good (of all).
