इ॒मे मि॒त्रो वरु॑णो दू॒ळभा॑सोऽचे॒तसं॑ चिच्चितयन्ति॒ दक्षै॑: । अपि॒ क्रतुं॑ सु॒चेत॑सं॒ वत॑न्तस्ति॒रश्चि॒दंह॑: सु॒पथा॑ नयन्ति ॥ इमे मित्रो वरुणो दूळभासोऽचेतसं चिच्चितयन्ति दक्षैः । अपि क्रतुं सुचेतसं वतन्तस्तिरश्चिदंहः सुपथा नयन्ति ॥
These, the unsubdued Mitra, Varuṇa and Aryaman, animate with energies the unconscious (sleepers);repairing tot he intelligent performer (of pious acts), they lead (him), by safe pahs (to heaven), removing alliniquity.
english translation
इ॒मे दि॒वो अनि॑मिषा पृथि॒व्याश्चि॑कि॒त्वांसो॑ अचे॒तसं॑ नयन्ति । प्र॒व्रा॒जे चि॑न्न॒द्यो॑ गा॒धम॑स्ति पा॒रं नो॑ अ॒स्य वि॑ष्पि॒तस्य॑ पर्षन् ॥ इमे दिवो अनिमिषा पृथिव्याश्चिकित्वांसो अचेतसं नयन्ति । प्रव्राजे चिन्नद्यो गाधमस्ति पारं नो अस्य विष्पितस्य पर्षन् ॥
(Beholding) with unclosing eyes, and cognizant (of the things) of heaven and earth, they conduct theignorant man (to duty); in the lowes depth of the river, (through them), there is a bottom; may they lead us to theopposite shore of the vast expanse.
english translation
यद्गो॒पाव॒ददि॑ति॒: शर्म॑ भ॒द्रं मि॒त्रो यच्छ॑न्ति॒ वरु॑णः सु॒दासे॑ । तस्मि॒न्ना तो॒कं तन॑यं॒ दधा॑ना॒ मा क॑र्म देव॒हेळ॑नं तुरासः ॥ यद्गोपावददितिः शर्म भद्रं मित्रो यच्छन्ति वरुणः सुदासे । तस्मिन्ना तोकं तनयं दधाना मा कर्म देवहेळनं तुरासः ॥
Including our sons and grandsons in that preserving and auspicious felicity which Aditi, Mitra andVaruṇa confer upon the liberal donor (of the oblation), may we never, acting precipitately, incur the displeasureof the deities.
english translation
अव॒ वेदिं॒ होत्रा॑भिर्यजेत॒ रिप॒: काश्चि॑द्वरुण॒ध्रुत॒: सः । परि॒ द्वेषो॑भिरर्य॒मा वृ॑णक्तू॒रुं सु॒दासे॑ वृषणा उ लो॒कम् ॥ अव वेदिं होत्राभिर्यजेत रिपः काश्चिद्वरुणध्रुतः सः । परि द्वेषोभिरर्यमा वृणक्तूरुं सुदासे वृषणा उ लोकम् ॥
Let my adversary desecrate the altar by (ill-expressed) praises; repelled by Varuṇa, may he (undergo)various sufferings; may Aryaman defend us from those who hate us; confer, showerers (of benefits), a vastregion upon the liberal donor (of oblations).

स॒स्वश्चि॒द्धि समृ॑तिस्त्वे॒ष्ये॑षामपी॒च्ये॑न॒ सह॑सा॒ सह॑न्ते । यु॒ष्मद्भि॒या वृ॑षणो॒ रेज॑माना॒ दक्ष॑स्य चिन्महि॒ना मृ॒ळता॑ नः ॥ सस्वश्चिद्धि समृतिस्त्वेष्येषामपीच्येन सहसा सहन्ते । युष्मद्भिया वृषणो रेजमाना दक्षस्य चिन्महिना मृळता नः ॥
The association of these (three deities) is of mysterious lustre; by their secret strength they overcome(all enemies); showerers (of benefits), through fear (of you our opponents) are trembling; have mercy upon us inthe mightiness of your strength.
