त्वं वर्मा॑सि स॒प्रथ॑: पुरोयो॒धश्च॑ वृत्रहन् । त्वया॒ प्रति॑ ब्रुवे यु॒जा ॥ त्वं वर्मासि सप्रथः पुरोयोधश्च वृत्रहन् । त्वया प्रति ब्रुवे युजा ॥
Slayer of enemies, you, Indra, are our armour, vast and our preceder in battle; with you for my ally I defy(the foe).

म॒हाँ उ॒तासि॒ यस्य॒ तेऽनु॑ स्व॒धाव॑री॒ सह॑: । म॒म्नाते॑ इन्द्र॒ रोद॑सी ॥ महाँ उतासि यस्य तेऽनु स्वधावरी सहः । मम्नाते इन्द्र रोदसी ॥
You verily are great; and heaven and earth abounding with food, respect, Indra, your strength.

तं त्वा॑ म॒रुत्व॑ती॒ परि॒ भुव॒द्वाणी॑ स॒याव॑री । नक्ष॑माणा स॒ह द्युभि॑: ॥ तं त्वा मरुत्वती परि भुवद्वाणी सयावरी । नक्षमाणा सह द्युभिः ॥
May the praises of your adorers, accompanying you (wherever you go), such as you are, and spreadingaround with radiance, reach you.

ऊ॒र्ध्वास॒स्त्वान्विन्द॑वो॒ भुव॑न्द॒स्ममुप॒ द्यवि॑ । सं ते॑ नमन्त कृ॒ष्टय॑: ॥ ऊर्ध्वासस्त्वान्विन्दवो भुवन्दस्ममुप द्यवि । सं ते नमन्त कृष्टयः ॥
The ascending libations proceed, Indra, to you, abiding in heaven, of goodly aspect; men bow inreverence before you.

प्र वो॑ म॒हे म॑हि॒वृधे॑ भरध्वं॒ प्रचे॑तसे॒ प्र सु॑म॒तिं कृ॑णुध्वम् । विश॑: पू॒र्वीः प्र च॑रा चर्षणि॒प्राः ॥ प्र वो महे महिवृधे भरध्वं प्रचेतसे प्र सुमतिं कृणुध्वम् । विशः पूर्वीः प्र चरा चर्षणिप्राः ॥
Bring (libations) to the great (Indra), the giver of great (wealth); offer praise to the wise Indra; fulfiller (ofthe desires) of men, come to the people offering many (oblations).
