उ॒षो न जा॒रः पृ॒थु पाजो॑ अश्रे॒द्दवि॑द्युत॒द्दीद्य॒च्छोशु॑चानः । वृषा॒ हरि॒: शुचि॒रा भा॑ति भा॒सा धियो॑ हिन्वा॒न उ॑श॒तीर॑जीगः ॥ उषो न जारः पृथु पाजो अश्रेद्दविद्युतद्दीद्यच्छोशुचानः । वृषा हरिः शुचिरा भाति भासा धियो हिन्वान उशतीरजीगः ॥
Agni, like the lover of the dawn (the sun), radiant, bright, resplendent, displays extensive lustre, theshowerer (of benefits), the receiver (of oblations), he shines with splendour, encouraging holy rites; he arouses(mankind), desiring (his presence).
