रावणे सुखसंविष्टे तास्त्रियो विविधप्रभाः | ज्वलन्तः काञ्चना दीपाः प्रैक्षन्तानिमिषा इव || ५-९-६७

sanskrit

When Ravana was happily asleep, the gods of light burning on the gold lamp posts gazed without winking as it were, at the women, whom they dare not gaze for fear of waking Ravana. [5-9-67]

english translation

rAvaNe sukhasaMviSTe tAstriyo vividhaprabhAH | jvalantaH kAJcanA dIpAH praikSantAnimiSA iva || 5-9-67
