नदन्नादेन महता मेघस्वनमहास्वनः । प्रवरान्राक्षसान् हत्वा नाम विश्राव्य चात्मनः ॥ ५-५७-११

nadannAdena mahatA meghasvanamahAsvanaH । pravarAnrAkSasAn hatvA nAma vizrAvya cAtmanaH ॥ 5-57-11
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआकुलां नगरीं कृत्वा व्यथयित्वा च रावणम् । अर्दयित्वा बलं घोरं वैदेहीमभिवाद्य च ॥ ५-५७-१२
- having caused havoc to the city of Lanka and terrific sorrow to Ravana by tormenting the army, offering salutations to Vaidehi . - ॥ 5-57-12॥

AkulAM nagarIM kRtvA vyathayitvA ca rAvaNam । ardayitvA balaM ghoraM vaidehImabhivAdya ca ॥ 5-57-12
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआजगाम महातेजाः पुनर्मध्येन सागरम् । पर्वतेन्द्रं सुनाभं च समुपस्पृश्य वीर्यवान् ॥ ५-५७-१३

AjagAma mahAtejAH punarmadhyena sAgaram । parvatendraM sunAbhaM ca samupaspRzya vIryavAn ॥ 5-57-13
hk transliteration by Sanscriptज्यामुक्त इव नाराचो महावेगोऽभ्युपागतः । स किञ्चिदनुसम्प्राप्तः समालोक्य महागिरिम् ॥ ५-५७-१४
