स रोचयामास परैश्च बन्धनं प्रसह्य वीरैरभिनिग्रहं च । कौतूहलान्मां यदि राक्षसेन्द्रो द्रष्टुं व्यवस्येदिति निश्चितार्थः ॥ ५-४८-४७
Bound by the enemy warriors, Hanuman, decided to bear all humiliations, thinking, 'May be the demon king might come to see me out of curiosity if he is so disposed'. ॥ 5-48-47॥

sa rocayAmAsa paraizca bandhanaM prasahya vIrairabhinigrahaM ca । kautUhalAnmAM yadi rAkSasendro draSTuM vyavasyediti nizcitArthaH ॥ 5-48-47
