ऐश्वर्यं वानराणां च दुर्लभं वालिपालितम् । अस्या निमित्ते सुग्रीवः प्राप्तवान् लोकसत्कृतम् ॥ ५-१६-११
'On her account Sugriva obtained the coveted kingdom ruled by Vali which was a difficult proposition, and retained supremacy in the world. ॥ 5-16-11॥

aizvaryaM vAnarANAM ca durlabhaM vAlipAlitam । asyA nimitte sugrIvaH prAptavAn lokasatkRtam ॥ 5-16-11
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसागरश्च मया क्रान्तश्श्रीमान्नदनदीपतिः । अस्या हेतोर्विशालाक्ष्याः पुरी चेयमवेक्षिता ॥ ५-१६-१२
'On account of the large-eyed Sita I ventured to cross the lord of rivers, the sea, and came to this city. ॥ 5-16-12॥

sAgarazca mayA krAntazzrImAnnadanadIpatiH । asyA hetorvizAlAkSyAH purI ceyamavekSitA ॥ 5-16-12
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयदि रामः समुद्रान्तां मेदिनीं परिवर्तयेत् । अस्याः कृते जगच्चापि युक्तमित्येव मे मतिः ॥ ५-१६-१३
'Even if Rama turns this land stretching to the ocean upside down or even the entire world on account of her, it is justifiable, according to me. ॥ 5-16-13॥

yadi rAmaH samudrAntAM medinIM parivartayet । asyAH kRte jagaccApi yuktamityeva me matiH ॥ 5-16-13
hk transliteration by Sanscriptराज्यं वा त्रिषु लोकेषु सीता वा जनकात्मजा । त्रैलोक्यराज्यं सकलं सीताया नाप्नुयात्कलाम् ॥ ५-१६-१४
'The sovereignty over the three worlds will weigh less than one sixteenth part of Janaka's daughter, Sita. ॥ 5-16-14॥

rAjyaM vA triSu lokeSu sItA vA janakAtmajA । trailokyarAjyaM sakalaM sItAyA nApnuyAtkalAm ॥ 5-16-14

'This daughter of Janaka, the great righteous ruler of Mithila, Sita is with unswerving devotion to her husband. ॥ 5-16-15॥
