विमुक्तास्तस्य वेगेन मुक्त्वा पुष्पाणि ते द्रुमाः । अवशीर्यन्त सलिले निवृत्ताः सुहृदो यथा ॥ ५-१-५२

Shedding their blossoms (under his thrust) the trees dropped into the waters of the sea just like close relatives follow at the time of farewell. ॥ 5-1-52॥

english translation

vimuktAstasya vegena muktvA puSpANi te drumAH । avazIryanta salile nivRttAH suhRdo yathA ॥ 5-1-52
