एवमुक्तः कपिश्रेष्ठस्तं नगोत्तममब्रवीत् । प्रीतोऽस्मि कृतमातिथ्यं मन्युरेषोऽपनीयताम् ॥ ५-१-१३१
The great Hanuman, pleased with the words of Mainaka, said, 'I am pleased at your hospitality. Remove your unhappiness. ॥ 5-1-131॥
english translation
evamuktaH kapizreSThastaM nagottamamabravIt । prIto'smi kRtamAtithyaM manyureSo'panIyatAm ॥ 5-1-131
hk transliteration by Sanscriptत्वरते कार्यकालो मे अहश्चाप्यतिवर्तते । प्रतिज्ञा च मया दत्ता न स्थातव्यमिहान्तरे ॥ ५-१-१३२
'My commitment is hastening me. The day set (for the accomplishment of the task) is also drawing to a close. A vow is made and I will not halt in the middle of my work.' ॥ 5-1-132॥
english translation
tvarate kAryakAlo me ahazcApyativartate । pratijJA ca mayA dattA na sthAtavyamihAntare ॥ 5-1-132
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइत्युक्त्वा पाणिना शैलमालभ्य हरिपुङ्गवः । जगामाकाशमाविश्य वीर्यवान् प्रहसन्निव ॥ ५-१-१३३
Having said this, the mighty monkey gently touched the mountain with his hands before ascending to the sky with a smile on his face. ॥ 5-1-132॥

ityuktvA pANinA zailamAlabhya haripuGgavaH । jagAmAkAzamAvizya vIryavAn prahasanniva ॥ 5-1-133
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस पर्वतसमुद्राभ्यां बहुमानादवेक्षितः । पूजितश्चोपपन्नाभिराशीर्भिरनिलात्मजः ॥ ५-१-१३४
The mountain and the sea honoured and adored the son of the Windgod and gave him appropriate blessings. ॥ 5-1-134॥

sa parvatasamudrAbhyAM bahumAnAdavekSitaH । pUjitazcopapannAbhirAzIrbhiranilAtmajaH ॥ 5-1-134
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअथोर्ध्वं दूरमुत्प्लुत्य हित्वा शैलमहार्णवौ । पितुः पन्थानमास्थाय जगाम विमलेऽम्बरे ॥ १-५-१३५
And thereafter leaping a long distance into the clear sky, he (Hanuman) took the path of the Windgod, his father, leaving behind the mountain and the sea. ॥ 1-5-135॥

athordhvaM dUramutplutya hitvA zailamahArNavau । pituH panthAnamAsthAya jagAma vimale'mbare ॥ 1-5-135
