गतो राम इति श्रुत्वा हृष्टः प्रमुदितो नृपः । पुनर्जातं तदा मेने पुत्रमात्मानमेव च ॥ १-७७-६
king Dasharatha gladdened to listen about the departure of Parashurama, felt that he and his sons were reborn. ॥ 1-77-6॥
english translation
gato rAma iti zrutvA hRSTaH pramudito nRpaH । punarjAtaM tadA mene putramAtmAnameva ca ॥ 1-77-6
hk transliteration by Sanscriptचोदयामास तां सेनां जगामाशु ततः पुरीम् । पताकाध्वजिनीं रम्यां तूर्योद्घुष्टनिनादिताम् ॥ १-७७-७
Thereafter, king Dasaratha directed his army to proceed speedily in advance. When he reached the city of Ayodhya it looked welldecorated with flags and banners. It resounded with trumpets. ॥ 1-77-7॥

codayAmAsa tAM senAM jagAmAzu tataH purIm । patAkAdhvajinIM ramyAM tUryodghuSTaninAditAm ॥ 1-77-7

The royal highways were sprinkled with water and strewn with flowers, it was beautiful. Awaiting with delight the arrival of the king, the citizens produced merry sounds with musical instruments. ॥ 1-77-8॥

siktarAjapathAM ramyAM prakIrNakusumotkarAm । rAjapravezasumukhaiH paurairmaMgalapANibhiH ॥ 1-77-8
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसंपूर्णां प्राविशद्राजा जनौघैः समलंकृताम् । पौरैः प्रत्युद्गतो दूरं द्विजैश्च पुरवासिभिः । पुत्रैरनुगत श्श्रीमान् श्रीमद्भिश्च महायशा: ॥ १-७७-९
It was well-decorated with throngs of people at their king's re-entry. While the citizens and brahmins came forward from a long distance to welcome him who possessing high fame, prosperous and followed by his elegant sons . - ॥ 1-77-9॥

saMpUrNAM prAvizadrAjA janaughaiH samalaMkRtAm । pauraiH pratyudgato dUraM dvijaizca puravAsibhiH । putrairanugata zzrImAn zrImadbhizca mahAyazA: ॥ 1-77-9
hk transliteration by Sanscriptप्रविवेश गृहं राजा हिमवत्सदृशं पुनः । ननन्द स्वजनै राजा गृहे कामैः सुपूजितः ॥ १-७७-१०
- reentered his palace looking like the Himalayan mountain. The king and his kith and kin were received with honour in a pleasing manner. ॥ 1-77-10॥
