एवं दशरथ: प्रीतो ब्राह्मणा नैगमास्तथा | रामस्य शीलवृत्तेन सर्वे विषयवासिन: || १-७७-२६

In this way Dasharatha was pleased with the good conduct and character of Rama. Brahmanas as also the inhabitants of the city and the people of the country at large were happy with him. [1-77-26]

तेषामतियशा लोके राम स्सत्यपराक्रमः | स्वयम्भूरिव भूतानां बभूव गुणवत्तर: || १-७७-२७

In world the glorious and virtuous Rama armed with the power of truthfulness became the protector of the people like Brahma (to living beings). [1-77-27]

teSAmatiyazA loke rAma ssatyaparAkramaH | svayambhUriva bhUtAnAM babhUva guNavattara: || 1-77-27

रामस्तु सीतया सार्धं विजहार बहूनृतून् | मनस्स्वी तद्गतस्तस्याः नित्यं हृदि समर्पित: || १-७७-२८

Also, that hearty Rama who was ensconced in Seeta's heart alone, he was always devoted, the wise went about enjoying with her (the beauty of) all the seasons. [1-77-28]

Chosen by his father Seeta became Rama's beloved wife with her virtue and beauty his affection for her grew further. [1-77-29]
