Seeta was an embodiment of Lakshmi (goddess of wealth). In beauty she was like a goddess. Hails from the city of Mithila as daughter to Janaka, she was always especially dear to him. [1-77-31]

तया स राजर्षिसुतोऽभिरामया समेयिवानुत्तमराजकन्यया | अतीव राम श्शुशुभेऽभिरामया | विभु श्श्रिया विष्णुरिवामरेश्वर: || १-७७-३२

When passionately conjugated with such a princess from the irreproachable king ( Janaka ), Rama, the son of Rajarshi ( king Dasharatha ), enthusiastically shone forth like the God of Gods, Bhagvaan Vishnu, when He is together with Goddess Lakshmi. [1-77-32]
