एका गर्भविनाशार्थं सपत्न्यै सगरं ददौ । ततः शैलवरे रम्ये बभूवाभिरतो मुनिः ॥ १-७०-३१

भार्गवश्च्यवनो नाम हिमवंतमुपाश्रितः । तत्र चैका महाभागा भार्गवं देववर्चसम् ॥ १-७०-३२
- named Chyavana, the heir of Sage Bhrigu, taking shelter in Himalayas. One of the two wives of Asita, highly fortunate one came to the sage Chyavana who was godly in his glow and . - [1-70-32]

ववन्दे पद्मपत्राक्षी कांक्षन्ती सुतमुत्तमम् । तमृषिं साभ्युपागम्य कालिन्दी चाभ्यवादयत् ॥ १-७०-३३
- that lotus-petal eyed queen desirous of a best son, revered the sage. Having approached the ascetic, Kalindi paid obeisance to him. [1-70-33]

स तामभ्यवदद्विप्रः पुत्रेप्सुं पुत्रजन्मनि । तव कुक्षौ महाभागे सुपुत्रः सुमहाबलः ॥ १-७०-३४
That sage spoke to her who was desirous of a best son regarding the birth of her son : 'Oh ! highly fortunate lady, a very good son and a very mighty son is there in your womb - [1-70-34]
english translation
महावीर्यो महातेजा अचिरात् संजनिष्यति । गरेण सहितः श्रीमान् मा शुचः कमलेक्षणे ॥ १-७०-३५
Soon you will give birth to a highly vigorous, highly refulgent son and that illustrious one will take birth with toxicity, but oh ! Lotuseyed lady, do not grieve'. ( So said Sage Chyavana to the queen of Asita who received the poison ). [1-70-35]
