हिमवत्प्रतिमे राम जटामण्डलगह्वरे । सा कथञ्चिन्महीं गन्तुं नाशक्नोद्यत्नमास्थिता ॥१-४३-८

- oh ! Rama, which was the cavernous curls of matted hair-tufts resembling the mount Himavanta. Though she strove hard in one way or another to reach the earth that Ganga was rendered incapable - ॥ 1-43-8॥

himavatpratime rAma jaTAmaNDalagahvare । sA kathaJcinmahIM gantuM nAzaknodyatnamAsthitA ॥1-43-8
