तामपश्यन् पुनस्तत्र तपः परममास्थितः । स तेन तोषितश्चासीदत्यन्तं रघुनंदन ॥ १-४३-१०
When Ganga's emanation from those coils was intangible Bhageeratha again firmed up in a marvellous penance ( in the matter of her descent to earth ). Oh ! Son of the Raghus (Rama), immensely pleased with that ascesis of Bhageeratha - [1-43-10]
