स च ज्येष्ठो नरश्रेष्ठ सगरस्यात्मसंभवः । बालान् गृहीत्वा तु जले सरय्वा रघुनंदन ॥ १-३८-२०
But, oh ! best one among men, oh ! Rama, the elder son of the king Sagara, Asamanja, always used to grab children and into the waters of River Sarayu - ॥ 1-38-20॥
