प्रतिगृह्य त्रिलोकार्थं त्रिलोकहितकांक्षिणः । गंगामादाय तेऽगच्छन् कृतार्थेनान्तरात्मना ॥ १-३५-१९

The devatas having received Ganga committed to the welfare of the three worlds went back to their abodes with a sense of fulfilment in their mind. ॥ 1-35-19॥
