या चान्या शैलदुहिता कन्यासीद्रघुनंदन । उग्रं सा व्रतमास्थाय तपस्तेपे तपोधना ॥ १-३५-२०
Oh ! Raghu's descendent, the other daughter of Himavanta, unmarried girl namely Uma, who performed a rigorous sacrament taking hold of a supreme devoutness as her ascesis itself was her wealth. ॥ 1-35-20॥
