शनैर्विसृज्यते संध्या नभो नेत्रैरिवावृतम् । नक्षत्रतारागहनं ज्योतिर्भिरवभासते ॥ १-३४-१६
Evening has gradually disappeared. The sky is littered with stars and planets gleaming points of light as though they are the eyes of the skies. ॥ 1-34-16॥
english translation
zanairvisRjyate saMdhyA nabho netrairivAvRtam । nakSatratArAgahanaM jyotirbhiravabhAsate ॥ 1-34-16
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउत्तिष्ठति च शीतांशुः शशी लोकतमोनुदः । ह्लादयन् प्राणिनां लोके मनांसि प्रभया स्वया ॥ १-३४-१७
Also the Moon with his cool rays, dispelling the darkness of the earth and delighting the minds of all living beings in this world, is rising higher and higher. ॥ 1-34-17॥
english translation
uttiSThati ca zItAMzuH zazI lokatamonudaH । hlAdayan prANinAM loke manAMsi prabhayA svayA ॥ 1-34-17
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनैशानि सर्वभूतानि प्रचरंति ततस्ततः । यक्षराक्षससंघाश्च रौद्राश्च पिशिताशनाः ॥ १-३४-१८
All nocturnal creatures groups of yakshas and rakshasas and dreadful eaters of human flesh are moving here and there". So said Vishvamitra to Rama. ॥ 1-34-18॥

naizAni sarvabhUtAni pracaraMti tatastataH । yakSarAkSasasaMghAzca raudrAzca pizitAzanAH ॥ 1-34-18
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएवमुक्त्वा महातेजा विरराम महामुनिः । साधु साध्विति ते सर्वे मुनयो ह्यभ्यपूजयन् ॥ १-३४-१९
Having spoken thus the highly lustrous, great ascetic Vishvamitra rested. All sages praised him, saying, "wellsaid wellsaid" ॥ 1-34-19॥

evamuktvA mahAtejA virarAma mahAmuniH । sAdhu sAdhviti te sarve munayo hyabhyapUjayan ॥ 1-34-19
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकुशिकानामयं वंशो महान् धर्मपरः सदा । ब्रह्मोपमा महात्मानः कुशवंश्या नरोत्तम ॥ १-३४-२०
"Sublime is this lineage of Kusha dynasty which always dedicated itself to righteousness, and the dynasty of Kusha are the best ones among mankind, and they symbolise with god Brahma himself, thus they are highly reverential. - ॥ 1-34-20॥

kuzikAnAmayaM vaMzo mahAn dharmaparaH sadA । brahmopamA mahAtmAnaH kuzavaMzyA narottama ॥ 1-34-20
