एतान् राम महाबाहो कामरूपान् महाबलान् । गृहाण परमोदारान् क्षिप्रमेव नृपात्मज ॥ १-२७-२१
- Oh ! mighty armed prince Rama, these missiles are disguise-wizards, greatly powered, and highly providential ones, you may take them forthwith." So said sage Vishvamitra to Rama. ॥ 1-27-21॥
english translation
etAn rAma mahAbAho kAmarUpAn mahAbalAn । gRhANa paramodArAn kSiprameva nRpAtmaja ॥ 1-27-21
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस्थितस्तु प्राङ्मुखो भूत्वा मुनिवरस्तदा । ददौ रामाय सुप्रीतो मंत्रग्राममनुत्तमम् ॥ १-२७-२२
Pre-eminent sage Vishvamitra on performing his personal holy purification ritualstood with his face turned east and happily, conferred on Rama collection of the unique mantras. ॥ 1-27-22॥
english translation
sthitastu prAGmukho bhUtvA munivarastadA । dadau rAmAya suprIto maMtragrAmamanuttamam ॥ 1-27-22
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसर्वसंग्रहणं येषां दैवतैरपि दुर्लभम् । तान्यस्त्राणि तदा विप्रो राघवाय न्यवेदयत् ॥१-२७-२३
The sage offered Raghava ( Rama ) the complete collection of those weapons which even the celestials ( devataa-s ) find it difficult to acquire. ॥ 1-27-23॥
english translation
sarvasaMgrahaNaM yeSAM daivatairapi durlabham । tAnyastrANi tadA vipro rAghavAya nyavedayat ॥1-27-23
hk transliteration by Sanscriptजपतस्तु मुनेस्तस्य विश्वामित्रस्य धीमतः । उपतस्थुर्महार्हाणि सर्वाण्यस्त्राणि राघवम् ॥ १-२७-२४
While the intelligent ascetic Vishwamitra was muttering the mystic terms of these venerable astras (addressing their respective deities), all these weapons (with their mystic power) attended Rama. ॥ 1-27-24॥

japatastu munestasya vizvAmitrasya dhImataH । upatasthurmahArhANi sarvANyastrANi rAghavam ॥ 1-27-24
hk transliteration by Sanscriptऊचुश्च मुदिता रामं सर्वे प्रांजलयस्तदा । इमे च परमोदाराः किंकरास्तव राघव ॥ १-२७-२५
The presiding deities of the weapons with folded palms and gladdened, addressed these words to Rama saying, "The munificient Raaghava,let safety be with you, here are your thralls - ॥ 1-27-25॥,

Ucuzca muditA rAmaM sarve prAMjalayastadA । ime ca paramodArAH kiMkarAstava rAghava ॥ 1-27-25
