रताः स्वाध्यायकरणे वयं नित्यं हि भूमिप । निष्क्रयं किंचिदेवेह प्रयच्छतु भवानिति ॥ १-१४-४८
"We are always preoccupied with self-study and teachings of scriptures, oh, king, thus you may give us something else in barter, any modest thing. " ॥ 1-14-48॥
english translation
ratAH svAdhyAyakaraNe vayaM nityaM hi bhUmipa । niSkrayaM kiMcideveha prayacchatu bhavAniti ॥ 1-14-48
