चित्राणि रूपाणि दिवा स पश्येत् स वै विकारो नकुलान्ध्यसञ्ज्ञः । दृष्टिर्विरूपा श्वसनोपसृष्टा सङ्कुच्यतेऽभ्यन्तरतश्च याति ॥४१॥
The person who perceives distorted forms during the day, and whose vision is marked by the symptoms of blindness similar to that of a mongoose, experiences irregular vision accompanied by difficulty in breathing. This condition causes the vision to contract and turn inward.

जो व्यक्ति दिन में विकृत आकृतियाँ देखता है, तथा जिसकी दृष्टि नेवले के समान अंधेपन के लक्षणों से चिह्नित होती है, उसे अनियमित दृष्टि के साथ सांस लेने में कठिनाई का अनुभव होता है। इस स्थिति में दृष्टि सिकुड़ कर अंदर की ओर मुड़ जाती है।
