तस्यांसदेश उशतीं नवकञ्जमालां माद्यन्मधुव्रतवरूथगिरोपघुष्टाम् । तस्थौ निधाय निकटे तदुरः स्वधाम सव्रीडहासविकसन्नयनेन याता ।‌। ८-८-२४ ॥

Approaching the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the goddess of fortune placed upon His shoulders the garland of newly grown lotus flowers, which was surrounded by humming bumblebees searching for honey. Then, expecting to get a place on the bosom of the Lord, she remained standing by His side, her face smiling in shyness. ।‌। 8-8-24 ॥

english translation

भगवान् के पास जाकर लक्ष्मीजी ने नवीन कमल पुष्पों की माला उनके गले में पहना दी जिसके चारों ओर मधु की खोज में भौरें गुंजार कर रहे थे। तब भगवान् के वक्षस्थल पर स्थान पाने की आशा से वे उनकी बगल में खड़ी रहीं और उनका मुख लज्जा से मुस्का रहा था। ।‌। ८-८-२४ ॥

tasyAMsadeza uzatIM navakaJjamAlAM mAdyanmadhuvratavarUthagiropaghuSTAm । tasthau nidhAya nikaTe taduraH svadhAma savrIDahAsavikasannayanena yAtA ।‌। 8-8-24 ॥
