आसां प्राणपरीप्सूनां विधेयमभयं हि मे । एतावान् हि प्रभोरर्थो यद्दीनपरिपालनम् ।‌। ८-७-३८ ॥

It is my duty to give protection and safety to all living entities struggling for existence. Certainly it is the duty of the master to protect his suffering dependents. ।‌। 8-7-38 ॥

english translation

जीवन-संर्घष में लगे समस्त जीवों को सुरक्षा प्रदान करना मेरा कर्तव्य है। निश्चय ही स्वामी का कर्तव्य है कि वह पीडि़त अधीनस्थों की रक्षा करे। ।‌। ८-७-३८ ॥

AsAM prANaparIpsUnAM vidheyamabhayaM hi me । etAvAn hi prabhorartho yaddInaparipAlanam ।‌। 8-7-38 ॥
