ततो देवासुराः कृत्वा संविदं कृतसौहृदाः । उद्यमं परमं चक्रुरमृतार्थे परन्तप ।। ८-६-३२ ॥
O Mahārāja Parīkṣit, chastiser of enemies, the demigods and the demons thereafter made an armistice between them. Then, with great enterprise, they arranged to produce nectar, as proposed by Lord Indra. ।। 8-6-32 ॥
english translation
हे शत्रुओं को दण्ड देने वाले महाराज परीक्षित! तब देवताओं तथा असुरों ने परस्पर सन्धि कर ली और उन्होंने इन्द्र द्वारा प्रस्तावित अमृत उत्पन्न करने की योजना को बड़े ही उद्यमपूर्वक कार्यान्वित करने की व्यवस्था की। ।। ८-६-३२ ॥
