तेनैव महसा सर्वे देवाः प्रतिहतेक्षणाः । नापश्यन् खं दिशः क्षोणीमात्मानं च कुतो विभुम् ।‌। ८-६-२ ॥

The vision of all the demigods was blocked by the Lord’s effulgence. Thus they could see neither the sky, the directions, the land, nor even themselves, what to speak of seeing the Lord, who was present before them. ।‌। 8-6-2 ॥

english translation

भगवान् के तेज से सारे देवताओं की दृष्टि चौंधिया गई। वे न तो आकाश, दिशाएँ, पृथ्वी देख सके, न ही अपने आपको देख सके। अपने समक्ष उपस्थित भगवान् को देखना तो दूर रहा। ।‌। ८-६-२ ॥

tenaiva mahasA sarve devAH pratihatekSaNAH । nApazyan khaM dizaH kSoNImAtmAnaM ca kuto vibhum ।‌। 8-6-2 ॥
