स विलोक्येन्द्रवाय्वादीन् निःसत्त्वान् विगतप्रभान् । लोकानमङ्गलप्रायानसुरानयथा विभुः ।। ८-५-१९ ।।

sanskrit

Upon seeing that the demigods were bereft of all influence and strength and that the three worlds were consequently devoid of auspiciousness, and upon seeing that the demigods were in an awkward position whereas all the demons were flourishing Lord Brahmā, ।। 8-5-19 ।।

english translation

यह देखकर कि सारे देवता प्रभावहीन तथा बलहीन हो गये हैं जिसके फलस्वरूप तीनों लोक अमंगलमय हो चुके हैं तथा यह देखकर कि देवताओं की स्थिति अटपटी है, किन्तु असुरगण फल-फूल रहे हैं ब्रह्मा ने, ।। ८-५-१९ ।।

sa vilokyendravAyvAdIn niHsattvAn vigataprabhAn | lokAnamaGgalaprAyAnasurAnayathA vibhuH || 8-5-19 ||
